Killeen Police Department is hosting 4th annual Domestic Violence Walk in October

The walk will bring awareness to victims and survivors of domestic violence while being educational. Free resources will also be available.

KILLEEN, Texas — The Killeen Police Department is hosting its 4th annual Domestic Violence Awareness Walk in October.

The event will be on Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. until noon at Lions Club Park, 1700 E. Stan Schlueter Loop. The walk will begin at 11 a.m. 

At the event, you will meet community partners who will offer free resources to those in need. As October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the walk will be educational to bring awareness and support to victims and survivors. 

Hope Alliance is a Central Texas organization that assists victims and/or survivors of domestic or sexual violence by providing resources and safety to those in need. You can learn more about the organization here.
