FORT CAVAZOS, Texas — The III Armored Corps Facebook page was reportedly hacked this weekend, according to an announcement by the U.S. Army Fort Cavazos page on May 11.
The Fort Cavazos page shared a graphic from III Armored Corps stating that their page had been hacked, and apologizing for any "atypical, nonrepresentative posts or ads" that may have popped up.
III Armored Corps asked page visitors to ignore those posts as they worked with Meta to take care of the issue.
Central Texans were encouraged to visit the Fort Cavazos page in the meantime for updates and events on the installation.
All other installations that make up the Corps were asked to refer to their respective garrison and unit level pages for updates.
No further information has been given at this time.
