BRUCEVILLE-EDDY, Texas โ Thursday morning, a driver veered off of I-35 near Bruceville-Eddy into a creek.
According to the Lorena Fire Department, the driver and his car fell roughly 30 feet to the bottom of the creek. Crews were able to get the driver out of his car, which pictures show had boards sticking out the front, but also pulled the car up from where the crash occurred.
The driver was taken to Baylor Scott & White in Temple by helicopter, Lorena FD says. Their condition is unknown, but LFD says the individual was "awake and talking" while they were being taken to the hospital.
