BELTON, Texas — Editor's Note | The videos above and below are previous segments on other city renovations in Central Texas.
Belton Parks and Recreation says the entrance to Heritage Park will be closed to vehicle traffic beginning Feb. 1 through early March, according to its Facebook.
The park and its amenities will remain open to the public, according to the park. Limited parking will be available at the front section of Park Avenue between E. 13th Avenue and the road closure.
This is only a temporary closure, according to the park. It is part of the Heritage Park Expansion that includes connecting the existing Park Avenue to 24th Street on the other end of the park.
The city says they are working closely with contractors to complete renovations before Spring baseball and soccer season begin. We are communicating regularly with each association with progress updates.
