TROY, Texas — Heaven and Earth will come together at the Green Trees Farm Saturday.
Lynda Schuman will celebrate the grand opening of their very own Grace Trails.
This Saturday you can join the family and other members of the community at the farm for the grand opening of the trails at 1:00 p.m. If you would like to show up early for the Annular Solar Eclipse you can.
A Grace Trail is a five-step resiliency process that begins with gratitude and ends with hope. ‘GRACE’ is an acronym for the five steps: Gratitude, Release, Accept, Challenge, Embrace.
Shuman has brought the first licensed Grace Trail to the United States woven within their 100-acre family horse farm.
The idea came about during covid. The trails honor the Schuman family who lost family members to a car accident in 2017 and act as a place to uplift people and help them feel renewed.
Little did Schuman's family know, it would change their lives and others forever.
"We've had veteran groups and a Parkinson group come out here," she said.
Schuman said she's seen people transform because of these trails. They go in with so much trauma and leave with their soul cleansed.
"Sometimes the horses will even join people on the trail," she added.
There are three "Grace" Trails on the property. One is a quarter mile, the other is a half mile and the last is one-point-one-miles.
This Saturday you can join the Schuman family in welcoming everyone to their Grace Trails at the their farm. The event will be from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to walk the Grace Trails, you just need to sign up before.
