WACO, Texas — The Heart of Texas Homeless Coalition is hosting its Project Homeless Connect event in order to provide resources to Central Texans experiencing homelessness on Friday, Jan. 26.
The event will take place at the Waco Convention Center from 9 a.m. to noon.
According to the Homeless Coalition, the goal of the event is to provide convenient access to resources to help facilitate progression out of homelessness.
The following resources and more will be available to event attendees:
- Employment assistance
- Haircuts
- Health & vision screenings
- HIV testing
- COVID-19 vaccinations
- Housing information
- Hygiene items
- Pet care
- Social services
- Veterans Benefits
- Dental screenings
