CENTRAL, Texas — It's that time of year again! The Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo (HOT) is here!
The HOT Fair & Rodeo will be here from Oct. 3 until Oct. 13 at the Extraco Events Center in Waco. Doors open at 6 p.m. and will close at 11 p.m. Gate hours and locations, admission fees and directions can be found here. For the fairgrounds map, click here.
The HOT Fair & Rodeo has served Central Texas for the past 70 years. Their mission is to "produce events for education, entertainment and agricultural experiences...while giving back through youth scholarships and having a positive impact on Central Texas."
Now the fun stuff, some of the attractions you'll see are livestock shows, face painting, pony rides and a beer and wine garden inside of the glassed Show Pavilion. At the Wine and Beer Garden Acoustic Stage, as you enjoy your drinks, there will be live music to enjoy. Fry Dat, Fat Boys Pizza, The Quesadilla Factory and Bubs BBQ Burgers are just some of the food vendors that will be available at The HOT Fair & Rodeo.
