HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas — This story has been updated to include the victim's name and additional information.
Harker Heights Police Department found 70-year-old Christopher Serres - a Harker Heights native -dead in the 500 block of Jason Drive on Sunday, Nov. 17.
According to a release, Harker Heights PD was contacted at 2:00 p.m.
Serres was already dead when police officers arrived, according to the police department. Serres was pronounced dead by Justice of The Peace, Nicola James, at 3:29 p.m.
Law enforcement says 56-year-old Helmut Holder, the suspect in this case, was later found dead in Wood County, Texas by self-inflicted gunshot.
The autopsy took place at the Southwestern Institute of Forensics Sciences in Dallas.
The police department withheld Serrres at the time of the incident.
Harker Heights PD is currently investigating the incident.
