WACO, Texas — The Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce launched a web page to support local businesses as part of it Waco Supporting Waco initiative.
Featuring Greater Waco Chamber retailers, service providers, and restaurateurs, the Waco chamber asks the community to shop and buy local to support small businesses struggling caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
The launch coincides with Gov. Greg Abbott's reopening date for Texas businesses under the "retail-to-go" model.
“The Greater Waco Chamber is fortunate to have many small businesses as members," Chamber President and CEO Matt Meadors said in a press release. "These small businesses were created and are led by our regions entrepreneurially-minded, creative people. They employ many Wacoans. Now more than ever, we encourage you to support our local small business community."
