The fundraiser was started to help ease financial stress for Brown's family.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The community has rallied together in honor of Kingsville Border Patrol Agent Brandon Brown who died in a wrong-way crash on Monday.

GoFundMe has been started to help ease financial stress for Brown's family.
In just one day, it has already surpassed the original goal of $40,000. Organizers have now moved the goal to $60,000.

3NEWS has learned that the Border Patrol Agent was a father of four and was with the department for two decades.

Troopers responded to the crash Monday night on FM 70 near Chapman Road.
They say a woman drove on the wrong side of the road hitting Brown's car head-on.
