HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas — The former Harker Heights fire chief died unexpectedly on Christmas day, according to the Harker Heights Fire Department's Facebook page.
Jack Collier served as Fire Chief of Harker Heights from 2006 – 2016, per fire officials.
"Retired Chief Collier brought an abundance of experience and education to those he led so faithfully. He will be greatly missed," said Harker Heights fire officials.
Per fire officials, Collier died in his home.
