Shawn Oakman has been indicted for sexual assault.
A Waco grand jury returned the true bill of indictment for the former Baylor defensive end Wednesday. The victim is listed as ‘Jane Doe’ in the indictment.
Oakman was arrested in April for allegedly raping a female Baylor student at his home near campus after a night out at a bar. He was released after posting a $25,000 bond.
Oakman will have to return to the McLennan County Jail to book himself in and make a post-indictment bond in order to be released until future court dates.
