Lorena man, Belton man identified as victims of fatal Temple crash

The two men were identified as Robert Groh, 66, of Lorena, and Gustavo Rodriguez, 38, of Belton.

Temple Police identified Robert Groh, 66, of Lorena, and Gustavo Rodriguez, 38, of Belton, as the victims in a fatal crash that occurred on Monday, Sept. 30.

The crash occurred around 4:15 p.m. that day in the 21000 block of southeast H K Dodgen Loop after police were notified of two cars colliding head-on. One person died in the wreck and the other was taken to a hospital, but was unable to survive his injuries and was pronounced dead after.

Temple Police are asking anyone with knowledge of the accident to contact them at 254-298-5500 or the Bell County Crime Stoppers at 254-526-8477, where callers can report anonymously.
