FALLS COUNTY, Texas — The Falls Community Hospital and Clinic hopes to reopen by June 1 after May 27 storms caused damage to the hospital and clinic facilities.
FCHC said it has been working with local restoration services and insurance personnel to assess and fix the damage. The full extent of the damage has not yet been determined.
"What we do know is that the facility has water damage due to rain and glass damage due to hail," FCHC's Cathy Kotter said in a release. "Many vehicles in the parking areas received extensive damage due to hail. With patient safety as our main concern, we closed the hospital and clinic until the professionals are able to fully assess the situation."
Although the healthcare center hopes to reopen by June 1, they said it might change as they might be advised differently.
In a Facebook post, the healthcare provider said the Rosebud clinic will be open starting May 29 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. for appointments and walk-ins.
