CORYELL COUNTY, Texas — A Coryell County father, who was given a speeding ticket while rushing to the hospital for his 15-month-old daughter, is no longer responsible for paying the ticket.
Coryell County Sheriff's Office reportedly dismissed the citation against Anthony Warren on Wednesday night.
Warren, who posted the interaction with a deputy on social media on Tuesday, drew attention online.
The Sheriff's Office issued a statement regarding the matter at 4:18 p.m. later that day.
Warren was pulled over for reportedly driving 86 mph in a 50 mph zone. According to Warren, the deputy called for an ambulance, but it never arrived.
