COPPERAS COVE, Texas — The Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center has revealed that the Copperas Cove Medical Home is being temporarily closed due to a "recently discovered fire safety hazard."
All patient care will be moving to the Russell Collier Health Clinic at Fort Cavazos as a result of the closure. The medical center says all CCMH patients who have a scheduled appointment will be notified of their next steps.
Those with questions are encouraged to call Patient Appointing Services at 254-288-8888 or the Russell Collier Health Clinic Front Desk at 254-553-3146 or 254-553-3147.
The Russell Collier Health Clinic's is located at 2515 South Clarke Road Building 94043 at Fort Cavazos.
A timeline of when the medical home is expected to reopen was not provided.
