Major fire, smoke pour from Langford Distribution in Waco

Fire crews are responding to a "heavily involved" fire at a commercial building in downtown Waco.

Heavy smoke and flames were seen coming from a commercial building that caught fire Monday, Oct. 14, 2019.

WACO, Texas — Crews were called Monday to a major fire at a commercial building in Waco.

Multiple units were called around 6:30 a.m. Langford Distribution Center building on South 17th and Franklin Avenue. 

Hazmat crews were also called in to help.

Heavy smoke and flames could be seen coming from the building more than a half an hour after the firefighters were called in.

Officials said no one was in the building at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.

According to its Facebook page, the company is a garden center.
