Two individuals arrested for illegal drug possession, selling in Bryan, Texas

A multi-department effort leads to the arrest of John Pilkey and Bobbie Jean Jones in Bryan.

BRYAN, Texas — The College Station Police Department announced the arrest of two people in Bryan, Texas for illegal drug possession and sales, according to a release on Friday.

The College Station Special Investigations Unit reportedly obtained a search warrant to investigate a home on the 500 block of West 29th Street. 

A College Station SWAT team entered the residence early Thursday morning. 

Two adults - 43-year-old John Pilkey and 36-year-old Bobbie Jean Jones - and two children were in the home, according to College Station PD. 

Law enforcement stated they found marijuana, methamphetamine, ecstasy, drug paraphernalia, and evidence linking to the selling of drugs inside the residence. 

Pilkey and Jones are reportedly charged for possession of marijuana, manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and the delivery of marijuana to a child, and are being held in Brazos County Jail.

In a multi-departmental effort, College Station Special Investigations Unit was assisted by College Station Police Department's Community Enhancement Unit, SWAT Team, Hostage Negotiations Team, and K9 Unit. The Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division-Bryan also assisted. 

The search warrant obtained by College Station Special Investigations Unit came as a result of an investigation into narcotics sales in Bryan with ties to the College Station area.
