City of Temple's newly elected councilmembers swear in

Three councilmembers swore in on Wednesday.

TEMPLE, Texas — The City of Temple hosted a Special-Called City Council meeting to swear in three newly elected councilmembers on Wednesday, May 10. 

The winner of District 2 Zoe Grant, District 3 Susan L. Long and District 4 Mike Pilkington all took the oath of office and pledged to uphold duties of their positions this morning. 

Temple Mayor Tim Davis expressed his excitement about the new councilmembers and their ability to serve the community.

"I am excited to work with our new City Councilmembers and I am confident that they will bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the Council. We have a lot of important issues facing our city and I know that these new members will work diligently to serve the citizens of Temple," Davis exclaimed.
