City of Killeen announces return of Safe Harbor Warrant Forgiveness Program

Residents will be able to clear their warrants from Dec. 1 through Dec. 31.

KILLEEN, Texas — The City of Killeen announced that the Municipal Court is bringing back its Safe Harbor Warrant Forgiveness Program beginning Dec. 1.

The City says this program is made to help residents resolve any outstanding warrants without fear of arrest.

If you have a warrant you can appear in court and find out if you are eligible for alternatives such as community service or fine reduction based on ability to pay.

Residents will have the entire month of December to resolve any warrants as the program will end on Dec. 31.

Last year, the Municipal Court was able to clear 109 warrants with a value of over $58,000.

Be sure to take advantage of this as soon after, in the new year, a Warrant Roundup will begin.
