Chip, Joanna Gaines picked to be ESPN 'College GameDay' pickers

Chip and Joanna Gaines will be picking their favorites in the biggest games of the weekend.

WACO, Texas — Waco's own Chip and Joanna Gaines were chosen to be GameDay guest pickers this weekend as No. 11 Baylor gets ready to face off against the No. 9 Oklahoma Sooners.

ESPN College GameDay anchor Rece Davis tweeted a video showing him looking over a People Magazine featuring the Fixer Upper couple, asking if they would want to be the guest pickers for the big game.

Chip saw the invitation and accepted on behalf of himself and Joanna.

As pickers, the two will choose their favorite teams to win in the weekend's biggest games.

The pregame show will be live from McLane Stadium Saturday from 8-11 a.m. on ESPN and ESPNU.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
