Car crashes into flagpole at Central Fire Station in Temple, Fire Marshal's Office investigating

According to authorities, the car was last seen heading West on Calhoun Avenue.

TEMPLE, Texas — Temple Fire & Rescue posted multiple images to Facebook of an SUV that appeared to crash into a flagpole at the Central Fire Station on Dec. 29 around 10:22 p.m. 

According to Temple Fire, a grey SUV turned from the northbound lanes of 3rd Street onto Calhoun Avenue and then turned into the parking lot of the Central Fire Station. Soon after, the car appears to lose control and drive into the grass, causing significant damage to lights and the flagpole. 

After the collision, Temple Fire says the car exited the area heading west on Calhoun Avenue.
