WACO, Texas — The Cameron Park Zoo is opening its fourth annual Wild Lights event, presented by Reliant, on Nov. 29, 2024. The event will run every Thursday through Sunday evening until Dec. 31, 2024, offering visitors a chance to experience the largest light display in Waco.
The zoo will be transformed into a winter wonderland, with millions of dazzling lights illuminating the park under the starlit sky. While the animals will be resting for the night, visitors can take in the magic of the season as the zoo gleams with festive delight. The event is designed to captivate all ages with festive displays, warm treats in every holiday hue, and a cheerful atmosphere perfect for making memories.
Ticket Information
Tickets for Wild Lights are available now, with general admission priced at $15 for adults (ages 13 and up) and $12 for children (ages 3-12). Cameron Park Zoo members receive a discount, with tickets priced at $13 for adult members and $10 for child members.
For those looking to enjoy both the daytime zoo experience and the evening light show, combo tickets are available. These tickets include admission to the zoo during the day, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., as well as access to Wild Lights from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Combo tickets are priced at $25 for adults and $20 for children, and must be purchased online in advance.

The event will be open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each Thursday through Sunday night, with the last entry one hour before closing.
Important Notes
The animals will not be visible during the event. To enjoy the full zoo experience, visitors can purchase combo tickets for daytime admission and evening access.
Tickets are not date-specific, allowing for flexibility in planning a visit, and will be scanned for entry upon arrival.
