HILL COUNTY, Texas — The burn ban has been lifted in Hill County, the Hill County Sheriff's Office announced on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
According to the Sheriff's Office, the county-wide burn ban was rescinded in Commissioner's Court. The original 90-day burn ban was ordered on Aug. 20.
Though the burn ban has been lifted, the Sheriff's Office asks residents who plan to burn to still call their non-emergency number to let them know when and where the burn will take place.
