FORT CAVAZOS, Texas — A bobcat has been spotted near the housing area at Fort Cavazos, according to base officials.
The bobcat was reportedly spotted in the Comanche 1 housing area. Game wardens and police are patrolling the area in search of the bobcat.
While a search is done for the bobcat, officials advise those to be aware of any possible sightings. If a housing resident spots a bobcat in the housing area, they are advised to move small animals and small children inside.
Officials also advise residents to not leave pet food outside as a precautionary measure.
Those that spot a bobcat in the housing area are advised to call the Fort Cavazos Police Department at 254-288-1170.
