LAMPASAS, Texas — A credit card skimmer was found Thursday on a gas pump at a Valero station in Lampasas.
A customer called police about a damaged pump at the station at 207 N. Key Ave. Officers found the skimmer inside the pump.
Lampasas police are working with Valero to identify who put it there.
Police said they are also contacting all the gas stations in the city to notify them and to ask that they inspect their pumps.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Lampasas Police Department at (512)556-3644.
