Bell County added to list of FEMA disaster relief list

FEMA says a physical location in Temple will be established for those unable to access the online application.

BELL COUNTY, Texas — One week in the aftermath of the tornadoes that touched down in Temple and Bell County, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has officially issued an Individual Assistance Declaration for the county.

The declaration allows for individuals and businesses to submit a claim to FEMA about different types of losses they may have incurred during the storms. Some of the assistance provided includes property damage-related assistance, emergency needs assistance for things like food, clothing, essential utilities, medication, or medical equipment, and other expenses for things like lodging, medical or dental expenses, funeral or reburial-related costs, and more.
