KILLEEN, Texas — The City of Killeen’s Engineering Division will be closing the southbound lane of Bacon Ranch Road from Stan Schlueter Loop and Chisolm Trail starting Thursday, Aug. 15 through Friday, Aug. 16.
The closure is due to installation of water services in the area. The contractor will have a traffic control plan in place and will guide traffic around the work area, according to the city.
The city says drivers should anticipate delays and are asked to use caution and obey traffic control devices and even seek an alternate route if possible. For any questions or concerns, the city can be reached at 254-616-3172 or by emailing engineering@killeentexas.gov.
