KILLEEN, Texas — According to the Killeen Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Andover Drive in Killeen in reference to a shooting victim on Tuesday at about 5:06 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man who suffered from a gunshot wound.
He was immediately taken to Baylor Scott and White in serious but stable condition.
A suspect has been identified and detectives with the Killeen Violent Crimes Unit are still investigating.
The Bell County District Attorney’s Office reviewed this case on Wednesday and issued a complaint that charged Adrianna Jean Veal, 28, with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon – family member.
Veal was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke and set her bond at $500,000. Veal is currently awaiting transport to the Bell County Jail.
