TEMPLE, Texas — An AMBER Alert was cancelled Wednesday morning after the 7-year-old was safely found, according to the Temple Police Department.
The alert was sent out Tuesday night, saying the child was allegedly abducted by her mother, 39-year-old Amanda Guerra.
According to the police, both the child and Guerra were last seen in the 3100 block of North 12th Street in Temple, Texas at about 11 a.m. Tuesday going into a wooded area near railroad tracks.
Police said they were unsure why Guerra would take her daughter.
Around 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Temple PD announced both the mom and daughter were safely located. No other information was released.
