KILLEEN, Texas — The Area Veterans Advisory Committee and the City of Killeen are hosting a Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 27.
According to the city, the ceremony will be held at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery at 10 a.m.
The city says Gov. Greg Abbott will be in attendance and give remarks along with guest speaker Lt. Gen. Sean C. Berabe, Commanding General III Corps and Fort Cavazos, and Mayor Debbie Nash-King.
Veterans organizations are invited to attend the ceremony and to bring their post colors and wreaths by 9:30 a.m.
This event is free and open to the public.
