WACO, Texas — An 8-month-old child and their father were reportedly injured in a house fire in Waco on Nov. 3, according to the Waco Fire Department.
Waco FD said units were dispatched around 8:50 a.m. to a home along Bell Street.
On the scene, units said they found a house with "heavy fire showing".
The fire was reportedly controlled in around 20 minutes, but two occupants of the home, an 8-month-old child and a father, suffered injuries in the fire.
Waco FD said the father's injuries were minor, but the 8-month-old was flown to Parkland Hospital in Dallas to a burn unit.
Waco Fire said there was significant damage throughout the home due to the fire.
According to the Waco Fire Department, the fire is currently under investigation. No further information has been released at this time.
