Second pass for brush to be done in unincorporated areas of Bell County starting Wednesday

The Bell County Office of Emergency Managment says that after the second pass is done, property owners will be responsible for disposing of the debris on their own.

A second pass to pick up brush in certain unincorporated areas of Bell County will take place starting Wednesday, June 26, according to the office of emergency management.

Brush piles need to be in the Right of Way by Wednesday in order to be picked up. The OEM says the contractor that will be working on picking up brush piles will not enter private property or private roads.

The areas that will see the second pass starting on Wednesday include:

  • Wildwood and Canyon Heights at FM 439 in Belton
  • Northcliff Estate, Woodland Trails, Woodland Point, Arrowhead Point, and Buck Lane areas
  • Bonnie Lane
    • The OEM says residents on private roads must have their debris on public roads to be picked up
  • Prickly Pear, Rattlesnake, and Rogers Park Road areas of Morgan's Point Resort
  • The Moffat area south of Highway 36
    • The OEM says residents on private roads must have their debris on public roads to be picked up

Belton, Morgan's Point Resort, and Temple residents in the city limits also have the option of contacting their respective public works departments for information about efforts to clean up debris and brush.
