KILLEEN, Texas — A 17-year-old was shot and killed near the 1300 block of Covey Lane late Saturday night, according to the Killeen Police Department.
The department said it responded to a call about shots fired in that area around 11:52 p.m., and learned that there was a disturbance between multiple people, with several shots fired and one person getting hit.
Friends took Obadiah Moishe Bush to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:53 a.m. Sunday, police said.
Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke ordered an autopsy to be performed at the Southwest Institute of Forensics Sciences in Dallas, the department said.
The Killeen Police Department Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting.
