WACO, Texas — The Waco Police Department released the identity of the 18-year-old who died following a shooting on South 12th Street Monday afternoon.
Waco Police say Anthony Powe was gunned down outside an apartment complex in the 900 block of S. 12th Street before 12:30 p.m. Officers tried to perform life-saving measures before he was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Police say they are now looking for the suspect who reportedly shot him, but did not release any description of the alleged shooter.

This is now the sixth homicide reported in Waco this year.
