HUTTO, Texas — If you've ever dealt with a third party service, you know the risk that comes with it. Sometimes things will end up out of your control and it can make you feel helpless.
Mike Mead of Belton, Texas is feeling that way right now.
Mead bought two tickets to KOKEFEST in Hutto, Texas which was supposed to take place in August, but never happened.
The event was cancelled and now ticket buyers are wondering when or if they will ever get a refund.
Mead said he bought two tickets through TicketSauce, a third party website that sells tickets for KOKEFEST and other events, similar to more popular ticket sellers like Ticketmaster or SeatGeek.
Mead claims he has yet to receive the $140 he believes TicketSauce owes him.
Mead added that he has tried contacting KOKE FM and their venue but he hasn't gotten any response regarding his concern.
Texas Today reporter Meredith Haas did reach out to KOKE FM and they redirected her to TicketSauce.
6 News has reached out to TicketSauce multiple times, but have not heard back yet.
