3rd Annual Free Children's Pop-Up Clinic coming to Harker Heights

Free services will include sports physicals, vision and hearing screenings, dental screenings and more.

HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas — Multiple local organization are coming together to host a free children's clinic in Harker Heights on April 22.

The Harker Heights Police Department's Healthy Homes Division is partnering with Bell County Indigent Health, Baylor Scott & White and Feed My Sheep to put on the 3rd Annual Free Children's Pop-Up Clinic for the community.

The event will be held at the Harker Heights Activities Center, located at 400 Indian Trail Dr. from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The clinic will offer multiple free services, including well and sick child visits, sports physicals, vision and hearing screenings, dental screenings and access to services from community resources.

“Our goal is to create a one-stop shop type of event”, said Healthy Homes Coordinator and Crime Victims’ Advocate Destinee Henderson.

Organizers said the services will be specifically for children, but no one will be turned away.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Immunizations records are required and adults must have an I.D. or driver's license.
