WACO -- Former Baylor defensive end Shawn Oakman, who was recently arrested after a sexual assault accusation, was accused of assault in 2013.
Oakman was arrested in April for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman after a night out a bar. Allegations of domestic violence in 2013 surfaced today.
Police say that Oakman allegedly injured an ex-girlfriend after a fight about their relationship. Police acknowledged that the girl had bruises and a swollen lip, but the woman, who was 19 at the time, refused to press charges. She allegedly moved out of the state after the incident.
