SALADO, Texas — On Saturday, Sept. 14, multiple police departments in and around Salado will be at Salado Middle School for a training event.
There will be multiple police cars around the school that day so police can take part in Active Threat Training with Texas School Safety Center ALERRT instructors.
While a time of when the training would start, the training will happen throughout the entire day, according to the Salado ISD Police Department. SISDPD says they're putting out a PSA about the training so that those in the area are not alarmed.
