MEXIA, Texas — Severe storms and heavy rains have impacted roadways and knocked down trees, and left some places without power Thursday morning.
Due to these circumstances, Central Texas school districts are putting safety first and either delaying or cancelling school.
Below is a list of the school districts that have announced a change in their plans for Thursday:

- Groesbeck ISD - Closed Thursday
- Centerville ISD - Closed Thursday
- Leon ISD - Closed Thursday
- Iola ISD - Closed Thursday
- Normangee ISD - Closed Thursday
- Huntsville ISD - Closed Thursday
- Buffalo ISD - Closed Thursday
- Marlin ISD - Closed Thursday
- Madisonville ISD - Closed Thursday
- North Zulch ISD - Closed Thursday
- Teague ISD - Delayed two hours
- Coolidge ISD - Delayed two hours
- Fairfield ISD - Delayed two hours
- Wortham ISD - Delayed two hours
- Mart ISD - Delayed two hours
