KILLEEN, Texas — Severe weekend weather forecasts prompted Killeen Independent School District to postpone its middle school district track meet, KISD representatives said Friday.
The meet, scheduled for Saturday, will be moved to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
On Wednesday, the girls will complete their running finals, and the boys will compete in field events. Girls will compete in field events Thursday while boys will have their running finals.
The change will also affect the start of the district's soccer season.
The soccer season will begin April 18, and the first soccer game of the season, originally scheduled for April 11, will be moved to May 4.
