ITASCA, Texas — Life is unpredictable at times, and sometimes unpredictable moments require heroes to step up.
That was the case that Anastasia McDowell ran into at the Itasca ISD talent show, where her partner ran into unexpected issues and was not able to make it for her performance.
However, School Resource Officer (SRO) Deputy Justin Lattin stepped up and filled in as Anastasia's duet, performing "Blank Space" by Taylor Swift!
"Great job Anastasia and thanks to you Deputy Lattin for filling in," the Sheriff's Office said in a post on Facebook.
