Vandals target popular burger restaurant in Killeen

A Facebook post on the Black Meg 43 page said the break-in caused more than $15,000 in damage.

KILLEEN, Texas — The owner of Black Meg 43 in Killeen said someone broke into the restaurant early Thursday morning, causing more than $15,000 in damage.

According to a post on the restaurant's Facebook page, it happened just after 1 a.m. at the restaurant at 1406 E. Rancier Ave.

Black Meg 43 is owned by a local veteran. It also has a location in Copperas Cove.

The Facebook post was shared hundreds of times. The owner is asking anyone with information about the break-in to call Killeen police.
