BOSQUE COUNTY, Texas — The Bosque County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Rangers and the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigation Division are investigating after a shooting in Bosque County.
According to the Bosque County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to a home on December 24 about gunshots in the Laguna Park area.
When deputies arrived, they say a man told them there was a fight and that two people were shot. Police went inside a the home, to find that two men had been shot.
The sheriff's office says those who were involved in the shooting knew each other and that the suspect is in custody.
"There is no risk to public safety," said Sheriff Trace Hendricks in a news release posted to Facebook.
