After a teacher at Ignite Learning Academy was arrested for injuring a child, authorities have also arrested the owner of the daycare after an investigation.
According to an update from the Temple Police Department, they collaborated with the Department of Family and Protective Services to determine further fault in the case where a teacher at the daycare was arrested after an infant was hospitalized for severe injuries.
The owner of the daycare, identified by authorities as Taylor Beck, 32, of Temple, had a warrant issued for her arrest on Thursday, Oct. 31 on a charge of Failure to Report a Felony, according to Temple Police. She turned herself in to the Bell County Jail shortly before noon on Friday, Nov. 1.
