Temple police seek help identifying credit card fraud suspect

The suspect reportedly used the stolen cards to make fraudulent purchases at H-E-B.

TEMPLE, Texas — Editor's note: The video above is from a March 24 house explosion incident story in Copperas Cove.

The Temple Police Department is asking the public for help identifying a suspect wanted for credit card abuse.

The suspect was described as an older man with a "distinctive" tattoo on his left hand.

The credit card fraud incident happened in late December 2019 after a vehicle burglary victim reported their wallet was stolen. The wallet had credit and debit cards that were used to make fraudulent purchases at H-E-B.

However, Temple police reported that it is unknown if the suspect was also involved in the vehicle burglary.

To report any information regarding the case, call Temple police at 254-298-5500 or report it to the Bell County Crime Stoppers on their website, through the P3tips app or by calling 254-526-8477.
