TEMPLE, Texas — A 5-year-old in Temple has been found safe after allegedly being abducted by a non-custodial parent on July 6, according to the Temple Police Department.
Temple PD said officers responded to the Temple Mall around 1:50 p.m., where they spoke to the child's father, who said the 5-year-old had been taken by his mother, who did not have custody.
Later that evening, Temple Police provided an update stating the child had been "safely located" and returned to his custodial parent.
