TEMPLE, Texas — The Temple Police Department is investigating an incident that left two dead on Thursday, June 13.
According to officers, around 4:20 p.m. they were called to the 900 block of South Henderson.
Upon arrival, officers found two individuals who had died from being shot. They were identified in an update from Tuesday, June 18 as Eddy Clark, 56, from Temple, and Venices Hawkins, 57, from Temple. Officials say it's possible the homicide may have taken place between June 1 and June 8.
TPD initially opened a death investigation into the incident but are now treating the case as a double homicide investigation.
