TEMPLE, Texas — The Temple Police Department identified 58-year-old Marquita Pollion as the pedestrian who was hit and killed by a car on Saturday, March 2.
According to Temple PD, officers were called to the 4300 block of South 31st Street around 7:35 p.m. Upon arrival, officers located Pollion, who was having CPR performed on her by nearby citizens.
Once Temple Fire & Rescue and EMS arrived, Pollion was taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center where she later died.
According to police, the driver that struck Pollion stayed on scene.
