A woman was arrested after stabbing two other women following an argument in Temple early Tuesday morning.
According to the Temple Police Department, around 2:29 a.m. that morning, officers were notified of two victims that had gone to Baylor Scott & White hospital for non-life-threatening stab wounds. The two 19-year-old females informed the officers that they had met up with a third woman in the 3400 block of Camellia Drive.
An argument and fight later broke out, which resulted in the suspect, identified by police as Sophia Ramirez, 19, pulling out a knife and stabbing both of them.
Police went to where the stabbing was reported and found Ramirez still there, and arrested her. According to TPD, she was taken to the Bell County jail for Aggravated Assault.
The incident is still under investigation and police are seeking information from anyone with additional knowledge of what took place.
